The new Summit Apartments was completed and ready for the 2018-19 ISU school year. The building replaces two dated and smaller structures located on Dry Grove Street between Kingsley and Main Street.
A new 13,000 SF OSF Medical office opened for business in July and is located on Bradford Lane in the Constitution Trail Center development in north Normal.

Inspections Receives Class 3 ISO Rating
The Inspection Department was evaluated through the Building Code Enforcement Grading System administered by the Insurance Service Office. The process evaluates construction plan review and field inspection practices, as well as Inspector experience and qualifications. The rating places Normal in the top 8 percent among Illinois jurisdictions.
